Mercia example documents will now be included in your audit files by default. This article covers how to access the example documents in new files, and how to include the example documents within existing files created prior to this release.
New Files;
1. You will now see a Template Resources folder at the bottom of your Working Paper Index;
2. To activate the documents in the folder, go into the customiser in your working paper index;
3. Select the Template Resources tab and mark which documents you would like within your file;
Note: This can be adjusted during anytime working on the file;
4. Close the customiser and expand your Template Resources folder. All supporting documents selected will now show;
5. You can now either choose to work in the document directly and then move into the relevant folder. If multiple copies are required of the same document, you can download the supporting document using the download icon and upload into the relevant folders.
Existing Files
In files created prior to the release of this new functionality. The Template resource folder will be missing. The below guidance will take you through how to bring these in.
1. From the working paper index, select the working paper index dropdown and go to "Copy Workpapers From Other Files"
2. Search the name of the template you are using. For example, if using Limited Companies, you can search the word "Limited";
3. The latest Limited Companies template should then appear. Select this from the list;
4. The template structure will appear on the right hand side. Find and tick the Z - Template Resources Folder;
5. Once done, click "Import";
6. Once the import is complete, you will see the supporting documents with ticks appear in the bottom right corner. You can then return to the working paper index;
7. The Template Resources folder will then appear in your Working Paper Index to use;
Note: If the folder is empty, you can use the customiser to activate the workpapers as per the "New File" steps above.
