To export your journal entry adjustments to Bright:
1. Select the adjustment section(s) that you want to export then click on the Export button > Export to Bright;
Note: You will not be able to export adjustments that are not set to adjusted
2. A login window will pop up. Add your Bright login details to connect;
Note: Where applicable, you may be required to enter a security code for Multi-Factor Authentication.
3. The Bright organisation you imported the Bright trial balance will be pre-selected 4. Review your selected journal adjustment(s);
5. Once you are happy with your selections, click on "Continue to Export";
Your selected journal adjustments will be displayed with a success/fail message;
Important Information:
- Journals updated in MyWorkpapers can be re-exported to update in Bright
- Any journals deleted in MyWorkpapers will be deleted in Bright when re-exporting
- The reference given to Bright in the reference column must be maintained to keep the sync. Please do not change the reference otherwise the journals will be deleted and added again on re-export
Requirements for journal adjustments:
- Journals must be balanced. Total debits must equal total credits.
- Journal adjustments must be set as "Adjusted".
- All codes must exist in the Bright chart of accounts to export journals to Bright.
