Once the auditor has completed the process of creating a query and notifying the administrator, the queries and overdue queries will be displayed in their respective counts on the SMSF Dashboard.
Note: For detailed instructions on creating a query and notifying the administrator, refer to: Creating A Query & Notifying The Administrator
Queries
As an administrator, you can view any outstanding open queries on a file by clicking the number next to the 'Queries' heading. This action will direct you to the SMSF Clients page, with the Queries filter automatically applied.
Note: Files with the status 'Queries with administrator' or something that has been mapped to 'Queries with administrator' will be found here.
Overdue Queries
As an administrator, you can view all outstanding queries associated with a file by clicking the number next to the 'Overdue Queries' heading. This will redirect you to the SMSF Clients page, with the Overdue Queries filter automatically applied.
Note: Queries are classified as overdue 14 days after the 'Date of Last Request'.
Note: If the 'Date of Last Request' is updated, the query will no longer be considered overdue and will move to the general Queries section of the SMSF Dashboard.
Responding to queries
Select the count next to either the 'Queries' heading' or the 'Overdue Queries' heading, and select the file you require or alternatively use the filter functionality to locate the file in question.
Once done, select the name of the file to be taken to the most drilled-down view of the file:
Once on the detailed view page, enter your response directly into the reply box and select 'Reply'. Your response will be instantly visible to the auditor within the audit file.
