Before continuing, it is important to note that you must have the Sign off, rename and delete files permission activated for your user role from the Roles and Permissions feature. If you do not have this permission activated then you will not be able to access the below feature.
To update the name of a Client in MyWorkpapers, please complete the following:

Click on the My Files drop down arrow and select Clients;

Search for the client you would like to update the name of;

Click on the client name to access the client details screen;

Click on the pen icon to the right of the client name;

Edit the client name as required and click Rename;

On the pop-up menu, select whether you would like to also rename ALL of the files for this client as well;

Click Yes if you want to continue with the client and bulk file rename;

You have successfully updated the client's name.
Note: You may only change the name of a client once.
If you use your name change quota, you can contact support and request that support reset the count so your able to rename your file.
