Drag and Drop Feature

MyWorkpapers utilises a simple and easy to use drag-and-drop system to upload supporting documents into the Working Paper Index. To upload a supporting document into the Working Paper Index, simply:

  1. Ensure you have finished all of the work in the workpaper prior to upload, as the document will need to be downloaded to your local drive again before being able to be edited;

  2. Left click and hold the left click on the workpaper you wish to upload from your local computer;

  3. Drag the selected file to your MyWorkpapers browser screen, ensuring the screen displayed is the Working Paper Index;

  4. Hover the dragged file over the folder you wish the file to be saved under until the folder expands;

  5. Drag the file to the location within the Working Paper Index which you want the supporting document to be saved;

  6. Release the left mouse button to upload the file;

  7. If you are uploading a word document, select the type of upload (normal upload or LiveDoc upload), for all other documents, select normal upload;

  8. The file will automatically be numbered with the next in the folders sequence;

Once the file has been successfully uploaded, we strongly recommend that you send the copy of the file you have just uploaded on your local drive to your recycling bin or to an appropriate folder titled "Uploaded documents" to avoid version control issues.
