Adding procedures and sub-procedures

In a program or a checklist if you need to add additional procedures, or want to add sub-procedures under a pre-existing procedure it is quick and easy.


New Procedure

To add a new procedure:

  1. Ensure you are in Edit Mode in the selected program or checklist;

  2. Identify the section you want to add the procedure to;

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the section and select the add row button.

Open Procedures can be edited even when in view mode. You can think of these as additional comments boxes which can be edited by the staff member completing the program. An example of a normal procedure and an open procedure when in view mode (i.e. not in Edit Mode) is displayed below.


New Sub-Procedure

Ensure you are in Edit Mode in the selected program or checklist:

  1. Identify the step you want to add the sub-procedure to (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc);

  2. Select the + button appears on the right of the procedure to add the sub-procedures;

  3. Type the sub-procedure in the box provided;

  4. To delete the sub-procedure, select the X button to the right of the sub-procedure text.
