MyWorkpapers is pleased to announce the following updates made on our platform.

Enhancements

• Assign a file - a new feature has been added to assign a file to an individual user, allowing a firm to give ownership of a file at any given point. The file assignee will also be a new filter in the workflow manager. Assigning the file can be done from the working paper index of a file.

• Pictures in MyWorkpapers - We have long been able to store images on the platform, a particularly useful aspect of adding evidence to any file. With this release, you will now be able to view those files directly in the MyWorkpapers system in the following formats:

  • JPEG

  • JPG

  • PNG

  • GIF

• Logging in - Improvements behind the scenes have been made to make logging in easier than ever. Watch this space for future communication about how to access and utilize the new features

• Dual Codes - Work continues on the Dual Codes feature and various elements have been added to the system in preparation for the full release of the feature.

Improvements/Bug fixes

• Corrupted files - Some users have experienced false positives on files being uploaded that are corrupted and not accepted by the system for upload. Improvements to this and our virus check procedures should see a significant decrease in the number of false positive cases of corrupted files.

• A25-1 sign-off - The A25-1 sign was unable to be backdated, now fixed

• Trial Balance editing - Once the Trial Balance had been reordered you were no longer able to make changes, or add tickmarks or references. This has been corrected so that all functions work when the Trial Balance has been ordered.

• Copy workpapers and risks - Copying workpapers from another file will no longer automatically bring in the risks and associated workpapers from that file
