In this guide, we will cover how you can assign and re-assign another staff users to a file.
Assigning a staff user
1. Enter the Working Paper Index of the file you wish to assign a staff member to.
2. You will now select the dropdown named "Assigned to:"
3. The MyWorkpapers assigned file feature will initially show yourself to assign the file to, but if you wish to assign it to someone else in the form, you can click the "Show Entire Staff List" to assign the file to another staff user.
Note: Assigning a file does not send a notification to the staff user who is assigned. We would still recommend using the notification options within statuses.
4. Select the user you would like to assign the file too and the box will automatically update.
Note: Only one user can be assigned to a file at one time.
Re-Assigning A File To Another Staff User
1. Return to the Assigned To: drop down;
2. Select the staff member on display or you can Show Entire Staff List and select a new staff member;
3. The page will automatically refresh and re-assign the assigned staff user;
Note: If you would like to unassign the file from all staff users, repeat these steps and select the unassigned option.
